My "yard crew" has done a decent job on the front yard...if they'd just crop the stuff up next to the fence, it'd look a lot better. Guess I need to dock their pay....*g*
Plied up the rest of the green/black/white roving last night - the resulting yarn is nice and bouncy, not too uneven, looks mostly dark green (the black reflects the green, it seems, so the overall impression is "green"). It should weave up loverly! I'll wash the yarn tonight and haul it to church so the guy can approve/disapprove of it before I start warping, but no matter - it'll become a scarf. If he doesn't like it, I'll put it up for sale. Or put it back for a Christmas prezzie.
Have packed my spinning basket for Saturday, have waxed the Norwegian (mmmmmmmm, love me my Wood Beams!) and have the Clan stuff already in the van. My garb is set out - just need to iron the skirts (or throw them in the dryer with a damp towel......might do *that* instead!)
Now, it's back to this thing called "work".
