wait, this is Texas. How about the "Not-so-much-frozen-as-just-cold-tundra"?

No ice this morning at the homestead, just a swampy mess. We didn't get the snow/sleet/freezing rain, we just got rain. Ah, well - the kids were upset that school is still happening.

I ordered Himself's birthday prezzie last night - he is now a proud member of the Lego Brickmaster's club. He'll get 6 new, exclusive sets, a bi-monthly magazine, gift coupons...and stuff. He's all OVER this - he was so excited that he brought the magazine to the table this morning and was telling me what all he was gonna get. :snicker:

I spent last night plying. Green superwash, in emerald, froghair weight, into a 3-ply sock-weight (barely...it's STILL laceweight. In a *3* ply. :sigh:) yarn. It's pretty. I have.....a bunch to go.

Off to do some googling - we're putting together a clan coloring book, and I want to try and find some line drawings to contribute.
