The dye experiment worked wonderfully! The yellow and green are both bright and cheerful, and seem to be colorfast. Guess the TX summer heat is good for something!
I'm almost at the point of starting on the tractor. Just about 1/2 inch more in the plain wool to go...then the fun begins. I can't knit intarsia and do anything else at the same time, though....so it'll go slower. Himself will be happy, though - he keeps asking (the way only a 4 year old can) when I'm going to put the tractor on it so he can wear it. Mr. Impatience!
One of the books I got yesterday has a whole bunch of graphs in it. 2 of them happen to be - Butterflies! Herself is quite literally beside herself over that...she can't decide if she wants a profile or a full-on view.
I'm keeping the book away from Himself...there's airplanes and trucks and trains in there. I don't want to spend the rest of my life knitting him sweaters.
The Zoeymonster is fine. I found the rest of the sea sponge in the bedroom this AM. A little worse for wear...
That's it for now, I think - the sweater is calling me!
