It feels like this week went on forever......this weekend is gonna fly by.

Saturday: Must get the kidlings up and out by 8 AM. Need to get the oil changed (45 min) and get Herself to my brother's apartment for the day of girly stuff. (I am *SO* glad it's not me!) (We have to be there by 10. He's a good 45 minutes away. So leaving at 8 is pretty set in stone).

Then, Himself and I are headed to the "local" weaving store. I will turn him loose on the wonders of looms that aren't mine (which, apparantly, aren't "Real Enough", according to him. What exactly makes a loom real, anyway? It seems a 45" 4H floor loom doesn't qualify, whatever the requirements are.) I expect we'll be there a while - he's currently more weaving crazed than I am.

We shall then proceed to lunch somewhere (anywhere but Mickey D's or Chuck E Cheese........*anywhere*) and onto Grandpa's house to pick up my paints. From there...who knows?

Sunday: Church, then on to Rockwall to check out that spinning wheel. I was supposed to go last Saturday, but they postponed it - couldn't find all the parts. *sigh* It would have been much easier last week, sans kids, but what d'ya do?

Then it's pick up Herself and rush home to clean...because my MIL and FIL are coming over Monday afternoon to stay for my surgery, which is scheduled for Tuesday (the insurance still hasn't approved it..so we'll see).

Fun stuff! I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Oh, and sometime this weekend I need to re-fix the fence, since the stud-muffin has gotten out again, and is currently mowing my next door neighbor's pasture. *sigh*

Ah, well, such is life in the country! Wouldn't change it for the world! *g*

I'm gonna try to get some pictures for icon-y goodness. We'll see if I can fit it in.....
