Sister Sword of Desirable Mindfulness

That's about the sum of day,'s been a morning, and it's only 9 AM.

Chickens got out last night, per the kids (I didn't go out - they like to put 'em in the coop, and I don't, so.....let them do it is my motto). They "fixed" the fence....Sweet Geek will look at it tonight. (hopefully, anyway).

We're getting 1 chocolate egg a day, now. I think it's the cuckoo marans, but I really have no clue. The welsummer is also supposed to lay dark eggs - but I don't think she's laying yet. Makes for an interesting egg basket, that's for sure!

Wrist is ouch-y today, but I can't tell where or why. Feels like it's around the thumb, which hasn't hurt since the first surgery 5 years ago. Weird....the sharp, shooting pain is gone, though, so.....I'm cool. I can live with this if I have to. Makes for very little knitting, though. :sigh:

Done with the returns, now I have to play catch-up with the "normal" work. It's worse now, though, since our contract job has a new system I have to wrangle.....and I seem to be the only person on our end that has a clue. (The "office manager" at the contract's office is.....well, not the brightest crayon in the box, if you get my drift).

Gotta skitter!
