Cold Tuesday...

we're supposed to get our first hard freeze tonight; possibly with rain and *snow* flurries. We'll see...the freeze, yeah. Snow? I'll believe it when I see it.

Frogged Himself's scarf last night - he had *somehow* lost 2 stitches; I picked them up easily. But, while examinig his progress, I found another dropped stitch, hanging out 8 rows down...with the correct stitch count. Wha? I asked him, and he agreed he wanted it perfect, the frog pond it went. I re-cast on, on size 9s this time (to make it go quicker, and have more drape), and he's merrily knitting on.

He asked his teacher - she said he probably wouldn't want to work on it at school, but *she* would like to see it. Good thing we frogged the "bad" one, huh?

Herself wants to learn to knit now. We'll start that tonight....

I need to it JoAnn's today...I have come to the conclusion that, for working wrist-warmers, commercial yarn is the way to go. :sigh: I am SUCH a yarn snob; yes, handspun IS superior, but...these wrist-warmers are going to get down and dirty. Milk stains. Ground-in feed. I...really don't want to put that much work in something that's gonna get trashed. (The kids? Don't do as much,, their arms are smaller. Less yarn.) I'm going to try and find some decent 100% wool in a worsted weight or heavier. We'll see....the 40% off coupon doesn't hurt...

Back to cleaning the office. Yes, we'll do *anything* to ensure our bonuses....especially right now. Property taxes are due, and my Jeep's "low tire pressure" light is on. We need to take it in tomorrow morning to get it checked out. Might just need air; might be something more serious. :sigh: Always something.....
