:ugh: Busy weekend....

Let's see...yesterday we got up early and headed out to the LYS. Left the ad for the table loom - I really hope someone bites. I don't need it, I need the space.....it needs to *go*. I'll be posting it on Craigslist tomorrow, too. We scored a little bit of yarn - only 2 for me; the rest was for the kids and Sweet Geek. Also picked up another copy of "Learning to Weave", since mine's gone walkabout (I think my goat breeder friend has it, but can't remember for sure.) (I got 1 skein of Henry's Attic Cascade (100% silk!) and 2 skeins of Bamboo Silk - both yarns for kippahs.)

We also got new shoes for everybody - the Reebok outlet has a "buy 1, get 1 half off/buy 2 get 1 free" thing going on. So, everybody got purty, new shoes.

Today, we headed to the Mall. Got both pairs of my glasses fixed, got Himself's resituated, and got Sweet Geek's pair. We also hit Half Price...and I hit the Jackpot! Lavold's "Viking Knits", "Knitting in America", "Creative Spinning" (for $3, I couldn't say no, even though I do NOT need it), Debbie Bliss' "Celtic Knits" and "Knitting with Balls". NONE of them were over $8! :happy dance: LOTS of inspiration there - and some way cool patterns!

Got home, and moved Heart to the girl's pasture. She's still limping.....her foreleg has a spot with no hair and a..bloody blister sort of thing. I don't think it's broken, as she IS putting weight on it (and at one point she took off and drug me thru the mud.....she's NOT in any massive amounts of pain!) We're not sure what's up, so she'll be in isolation for a bit. :sigh:

I'm down to 4.5 full pattern repeats to go on the sleeve! Better get back to it!
