It's Tax Season...

Previous Entry It's Tax Season... Mar. 10th, 2010 @ 08:19 am Next Entry
so things are a bit hectic here, to say the least. We've got the first Fed one at the half-way point (it's due Monday, so gotta get cracking!), and I've downloaded the CA one. :sigh:

Lots of thoughts roiling around, not much time....BUT. One came to me crystal-clear yesterday. I *know* the Elect will NOT go thru the Trump and Bowl Judgements - we've been promised. I also know that the church is wrong - it's not gonna be millions of people. ("Narrow is the gate", remember? The church isn't "narrow", it's "broad", so...yeah. They're wrong.)

Anyway....the church teaches that the Rapture (however it occurs!) will be a big wake-up call. Nope.....I'm thinking that, over the next few months you'll see a drop off of posts by the "Trubies" (for lack of a better term!). What posts they do will be mostly fluff....when they disappear, it won't even be a blip on the radar for most people.

Anyway - gotta skitter! (And..while I *hope* Yah considers me one of the Elect, I am human enough to know that I don't deserve to be. So.....I'm not including myself in the Trubie statement above (though I have Faith enough to say yes, I am there.....still. I don't want to be arrogant and say *I* will be gone, see ya!, if that makes sense.) I am referring to the "big" Messianic warriors.)

piddle off?

Out of curiosity, why do you see a 'drop off of posts' by truebies?

Re: piddle off?

Part of it is because you were told your ministry was almost over. I've noticed that yes, you've dropped off teaching/prophecy posts (I'm NOT complaining! Just observing) because you are getting busy - homeschool/critters/etc. Some other folks I read (also Messianic) also seem to be slowing down in "real" posts - going to mostly life/fluff-type stuff. (Again - no complaints! Just something I've noticed lately - it could change, of course!)

The other thing.....the Left Behind books made a big to-do of all the disappearances.....I *don't* think that's the way it'll be. I have a feeling that folks'll go....and very few people will notice - mostly because they will be so wrapped up in their own problems that it won't register for quite some time that people are gone.

It's....Rev. doesn't make a big deal of the people John sees in the Temple after Seal 6/before Seal 7. I mean, they're there, but I don't see them mentioned again. It's like...in a book, you have "throw-away" plot points. It's almost like John glossed over this part - here they are, but don't worry about them any more. He goes right into the next thing.......he spends more time on the Sealing of the 144,000 then he does the multitude.

(Which is also where LaHaye screwed me up. HE claims that the Sealings go on thruout the WHOLE Trib. As you accept Christ - ANYWHERE during the Trumps and Bowls, you immediately get sealed - only noticable by other "sealed Saints" - and voila! You're "in". I......Revelation does NOT say that. It only mentions people being sealed *1* time. It mentions the sealed ones later, following Christ, but it does NOT say the Sealing goes on and on. :sigh:)

I finished Acts, and want to start on Revelation (again!) next. We'll see now it goes...
