Our Financial Advisor told us yesterday that T.B.P(ickens) said that as of...I think May 1, 2010 - it will become MANDATORY for all big-rigs to be switched over to running on Natural Gas. (Our FA is big with the IPAA/TIPRO/etc....so I trust him on this).

IF this is the case (I think he said it was a...5 year switchover?)...well, Natural Gas is going to go UP. Which means Propane will go UP. Oil won't go down too much - he says they are trying to export mopeds to China, which will up their consumption......this means, of course, GASOLINE prices will go up.

Yeah, we knew all this...but I didn't think about Natural Gas. This'll cause food prices to soar......even more than they already are. SOMEONE'S gotta pay for the switchover, after all.......

Are you ready?

Get Goats! Even if they don't produce much of an income - they are excellent therapy animals and will help reduce stress... :o)

Also this is actually making me happy I have a windmil - the one thing the windmill has done for us is lower our propane bill - propane used to be a huge chunk of our expenses in the winter.

Is natural gas really so much better for the enviroment than diesel?
