Home again, home again....

safely, with the kids. Thankfully. Like others have said, I am NOT in a holiday mood...the only reason I was *happy* for today was that I was going to go get my children. Yes, it was nice to have some "me" time...for about 3 hours. I don't begrudge the grandparents the time with their grandkids (especially since they've never even MET the newest grandchild....and my BIL didn't even have the decency to call and tell HIS PARENTS that he and family weren't coming up today. FIL had to call him - at 11:00! - to find this out. :grrrrrrr: Never mind....I can't abide rudeness.)

Still, we had a nice time - a good visit was had by all, and good food. My challah turned out FABULOUS - I did a 4-strand braid, which made the loaf nice and round, and for some reason it was light and moist and more yummy than normal. Don't know what I did - but I'm going to try to do it again tomorrow.

The fudge was a HUGE the point that I have promised to make more for Hanukkah. No, it's not fried....but it's chocolate and yummy.

Need to go huggle kids......

(Oh! Kippah pictures will be forthcoming...I wanted to wait until I finished #2, but I've lost the knitting bug for the moment. Ah, well.....I need to take photos of Herself's stuff, too.....I'll try to post tomorrow, but I have some work-work to do, so...we'll see. Soon!)
