Did I miss an Ali post?
I think it's very christian to put so much emphasis on being in the Word everyday. Consider Abraham, Noah, Moses, Isaiah, Paul, etc. Were they in the Word everyday? And yet they were considered righteous. The Word is a tool, but it's just 25% of the picture. There's faith (25%) and obedience (25%) and Spirit (25%) and Truth (25%). And that's splitting it evenly - I would put WAY more weight on Spirit than the other three, personally... so the written Word may be even LESS than that!
Don't beat yourself up. It's more important to dwell in Him, and have Him at the forefront of your thoughts (silly or not) than it is to work at some fake level of profoundness. ;)
