which means weigh-in. Which is good...since tomorrow is stuff-yourself-to-bursting day. :grin: As of 5 AM: 192 - down!!! I was at 191 on Monday, so I'm not sure what's going on, but that's OK. The scale is moving down, which is the point.
I need to dig out a tape measure and see what's going on with my waist. My sweats won't stay on my waist anymore - they're hip-huggers now. And my stomach is...not tight, but not jiggly anymore.
Today is baking day. Himself made some really tasty breadsticks last night - they have to sit in a 150* oven for 12 hours - and Herself is agitating to help with the Pumpkin pie. Himself has a Chocolate-Peanut Butter pie planned - so all that's left for me is the Pecan pie. :lol: And the turkey tomorrow, but I have a bag, so it'll only take 3.5 hours or so. Oh! I need to chop the celery/onion/carrots today, too.
I've got everything laid out - my MIL taught me that years ago. You take your ingredients (like, say, for green bean casserole) and put them all in the dish they'll be cooked in. If something needs a pot AND a serving bowl, you put them together, too. That way, there's no scrambling around for things when you need to get 'em cooked. Tomorrow will be busy - but with everything laid out, it won't be a madhouse.
Turkey (of course)
Green bean casserole
Baked sweet potatoes
Mashed potatoes (for those that don't like sweet potatoes)
Baked beans (because Himself requested them)
Challah (love my bread machine!)
Gravy (of course!)
and maybe cookies. Maybe.
We'll have leftovers coming out of our ears, but that's OK. Less cooking for me later! :wink:
Better get back to it!
