Got home to find SG finishing a target holder - after lunch, we target-shot. I learned quite a few things:
1. I suck. I haven't shot a pistol (for real, I mean) in...well, 10 years. I *used* to be good...not any more. We will be practicing a LOT.
2. I was right - the .40 cal is too much for me. After the 1 shot at the coyote, my left wrist (which is my supporting wrist) was sore. Today I shot 9mm - NO pain! Even after a full box of ammo!!
3. Larger targets are easier to hit (or....miss closer to ) than smaller ones. Again...practice!
We did no shopping today - unless you count lunch. I am turkey'd out. Still, lunch yesterday went well, and nobody got sick, so that's a win.
I need to go tidy up for tonight - Shabbat Shalom!
