Pastor delivered the 2 bags today......it took himself and his son to offload them. I can't even scoot them over....big. Very big. And Full.
The problem? It's been raining all day. With the van in the garage, I can't sort the wool...and it's too iffy to pull the van out into the driveway.
Hopefully, it'll clear up tomorrow and I can get to skirting and sorting.
I peeked in the bags....Oh Wow. I, umm, don't think anyone would like this stuff...I think I need to find a spot to stash it and then force myself to spin it. *g* The Ram's fleece is nice - not too smelly (all things considered), nice crimp, good lock formation....have I mentioned it's nice?
There's one fleece in there....the ewe was born last March. They didn't shear her last year...so this is a little over 1 year's growth. He told me the locks are probably 5" long......whee! I can't wait to dig it out and see how sound it is.
Some of it's been spoken for...but the rest is up for grabs. Let me know if you want any!
