Friday Follies....

Let's see..this has been a slacker week for us, school-wise. Tuesday I was at the office, Wednesday we were out all day, and yesterday we ended up being out, as well. It's Summer, we're technically "ahead", so....whatever. We'll make it up - and we *didn't* slack on the core subjects. Languages....well, this isn't a race, right?

Yesterday we had to run the vacuum in to get it checked (it's fine, I'm just paranoid!), and had to go to the Fabric Outlet to replace the fabric for Bombshell V.2.1. And pick up some for Herself a new suit (black holographic. At $18/yard. :sigh: We bought 1 yard.....the suit pattern she settled on? Only requires 1/2 a yard. Oh, well....) We also dropped my machine off to get it cleaned - it's ready, and the lady got EVERYTHING to work on it - even the "sew discs". :whoo!: For $50!

Today we go pick up the machine. That's IT. I have cheese doing it's thing (Emmental, today. A Swiss-type.), and my suit is cut out. I have Herself's pattern traced - I'm going to do a mock up in some of my scraps, to make sure it fits before cutting into her fabric. Probably won't start working on them until Sunday, is clean for Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom, and may your Day be Blessed!
