and found the leak. Good news: It's on the hot water line, so we at least have running water!
Slightly good news: It's a slow leak, so we can turn the hot water on for laundry/showers, and it doesn't flood too badly.
Bad news: It IS in the slab. Close to the front wall, in the ledge that stops your car from going thru the wall. :sigh:
Insurance is covering this....but....it's claim #3. I am a bit concerned, but honestly? This might be a good thing - we've had Farm Bureau since 2003/4, and we might be able to get a cheaper rate from someone else. (I am TRYING to look on the bright side here.)
IT's also Chick Season! Herself bought 12 chicks today: 6 Silver-laced Wyandottes, 4 Buff Orgs, and 2 Americunas (aka Easter-eggers). Normally, they'd be in the garage Studio, but due to the fans and work tomorrow, they are currently in my Studio chillin'. Fun times!
SG's overalls are SOCLOSE to being finished! I need to get the straps turned right-side out, then they need to be attached and the hardware installed, then I need to hem the legs and they are DONE. I've already started tracing off my next project - Sew Over It's "Betty" dress. I.....well. I'm not sure how this is going to work out. I have the bodice almost all traced off - I'll tissue fit it to Kate to see if it'll work or not. They say it fits closely - we'll see. I *really* want it to work out - it has a floofy, full-circle skirt that is so, so twirly! :giggle: I have fabric for 2 versions ready to go......
I need to clean up dinner. Tomorrow is going to be a noisy, busy day.
